Bloomfield Selected as Crain’s Chicago Business 2020 Notable Veteran Executive

Provisio Partners is proud to announce that our CEO and Founding Partner, Travis Bloomfield, has been selected for inclusion in Crain’s Chicago Business’ 2020 “Notable Veteran Executives” feature. A former Air Traffic Controller in the Air Force, Bloomfield now leads Provisio Partners, a consulting company that advises nonprofit human service organizations across the country. Our purpose as a company is to empower changemakers with the right technology and Salesforce solutions, allowing them to connect their mission with the people and communities they serve.

As we honor our veterans on this day, we wanted to highlight two of our clients providing essential veterans services: Endeavors based in San Antonio, TX and CARPLS based in Chicago, IL.

Endeavors’ mission is to passionately serve vulnerable people in crisis through their innovative, personalized approach. They offer many veterans services, including the following:

  • Homelessness prevention and rapid re-housing services to veterans at risk of becoming homeless. They have re-housed or prevented homelessness for 6,637 veterans’ families in 2019.
  • Case management services, allowing veterans to develop a housing stability plan. Endeavors assists veterans in obtaining VA and other benefits and provides referrals to community agencies. They also work with individuals with disabilities to find employment opportunities.
  • Temporary financial assistance, based on financial need, including rental deposits, arrears, and utility payments.

Endeavors’ Veteran Wellness Center provides several physical and mental health support services for all veterans and any person who has served in the Armed Forces, veteran family members, and those in the community who care for veterans and their families. The Veteran Wellness Center is currently offering services virtually across Texas. They also run a program called Operation Parent Strong that offers free parenting enrichment programs for all veterans, National Guardsmen, reserve, and active military parents with children 0-17 years old. The session goals include building strong, healthy relationships; preparing children for school achievement; and reducing family stress.

CARPLS’ mission is to provide everyday justice for everyday people. They are Cook County’s largest provider of free legal services. Provisio and CARPLS worked together to create the state of Illinois’ first Veterans/Military Hotline. CARPLS offers free legal aid services for low and moderate-income service members who live in Illinois. This includes veterans, Active Duty (including National Guard and Reserves), spouses and their dependents.

CARPLS is partnered with the Illinois Armed Forces Legal Aid Network. The hotline is underwritten by the Illinois Equal Justice Foundation. For more information, visit https://www.carpls.org.

In March of 2019, Salesforce announced the Vetforce Alliance, a partnership with Accenture Federal Services and Prudential. The goal of this alliance is to “create a larger movement that drives additional companies to hire military service members, veterans and spouses.” Provisio was an initial sponsor of Salesforce Vetforce and has recruited employees from this program.
